Proposed Amendment to Part 80 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education Related to Pathways for Candidates to Pursue Transitional A, Initial, and/or Professional Career and Technical Education Certificates - Department staff will present for emergency action amendments to Section 80-3.5 and 80-3.7 related to Career and Technical Education pathways for candidates to obtain an initial and/or professional certificate.
Proposed Amendment to Add a New Part 48 to the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education Related to Annual Aggregate Data Reporting by New York State Institutions of Higher Education Related to Reports of Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Stalking and Sexual Assault - Department staff will present for discussion a draft regulation related to Education Law Article 129-B.
Principal Preparation Project Update - Department staff will present an update on the Principal Preparation Project.

Appointments to Regents Advisory Council on Museums - Department staff will present proposed appointments to the Regents Advisory Council on Museums for Board of Regents approval.
Recent Acquisitions in History - Department staff will highlight recent additions to the history collection, including a collection of artwork from the historic Woodstock Art Colony and a ticket booth from the original 1923 Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

Proposed Amendment of Section 79-7.2 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education Relating to the Education Requirements for Certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer - Department staff will present a proposed amendment to conform the Regulations of the Commissioner to the national education standards for certification as an athletic trainer.
Discussion of the Center for Workforce Studies - Representatives from the Workforce Studies will discuss demographics, including shortage areas, of the healthcare professions.

Renewal Decisions for Charter Schools Authorized by the Board of Regents - Department staff will make a recommendation on renewals for charter schools authorized by the Board of Regents.
Proposed Amendment to Section 100.2(x) of the Commissioner’s Regulations to Implement the Provisions of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act for the Education of Homeless Children and Youths, as Reauthorized by the Every Student Succeeds Act - Department staff will present emergency regulations for adoption to conform Commissioner’s Regulations 100.2(x) pertaining to the education of homeless youth to recently enacted changes to Section 3209 of Education Law, which was amended to align State law with provisions of the Every Student Succeeds Act.
Unit of Study Requirements for Career and Technical Education in Grades 7 and 8 - Department staff will present emergency regulation regarding the Middle Level program requirements for Career and Technical Education (CTE), and the various ways districts could meet those requirements to better prepare students for pathways in high school.
Proposed Amendments to Part 136 of the Commissioner’s Regulations Relating to School Health Services - Department staff will present for discussion a proposed regulation related to school health services in an effort to address the feedback received during the public comment period regarding grade levels for hearing screening and physical examinations.
Revision of the English Language Arts and Mathematics Standards - Department staff will share revised ELA and mathematics learning standards with the Board of Regents.
