Pathways to a New York State Diploma - Department staff will continue the July discussion providing an overview along with an updated timeline.

2019 Grades 3-8 ELA and Mathematics Test Results - Department staff will review information related to the scores for the English Language Arts and Mathematics tests in grades 3-8.
Proposed Amendment to Sections 155.1, 155.2, 155.3, 155.4, and 155.8 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education Relating to Educational Facilities to Implement Sections 52-b, 52-e, and 52-f of Part YYY of Chapter 59 of the Laws of 2019 - Department staff will propose a regulatory amendment to provide for staggered implementation of Building Condition Surveys and to remove the requirement for Annual Visual Inspections to align with revised Education Law §409-d and §3641 and to align with the current policies and procedures of the Department.
Proposed Amendment of Sections 135.1 and 135.4 of the Commissioner’s Regulations relating to Extended Eligibility for Participation in Inclusive Athletic Activities - Department staff will advance a regulation change to clarify the definition of inclusive sports.
2019-2020 Priorities - Committee members will continue the discussion from the July 2019 meeting to establish P-12 Committee priorities for 2019-2020.

Proposed Amendment to Sections 69.1, 69.2 and 69.3 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education Relating to the Education, Experience, Examination and Endorsement Requirements for Licensure as an Architect - Department staff will present for discussion a proposed amendment to conform the regulation to national standards regarding the education, experience, examination and endorsement requirements for licensure as an architect.
