Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Financial Transparency - Department staff will provide an overview of the fiscal transparency requirements, recommended approach and time line.

Proposed Amendment to §100.5(b) of the Commissioner’s Regulations Relating to the Laboratory Experiences Required in Order to Take a Science Regents Examination for Students in State Agency Educational Programs and Correctional Facilities - Department staff will review an emergency regulation that enables incarcerated youth to complete the 1,200 minute laboratory experience requirement though a combination of hands-on and/or simulated experiences.
Funding for Preschool Special Class Integrated Setting Programs - Department staff will provide an update regarding stakeholder input as well as the Department’s recommendation for a more effective program model and methodology of reimbursement for educating preschool students with disabilities alongside their typically developing peers in integrated settings within early childhood programs in New York State.
Update on the East Ramapo Central School District - Monitors will provide an overview of the actions and activities occurring within the East Ramapo Central School District.
Information Privacy Program - The Chief Privacy Officer will provide an update on current activities and next steps.

Proposed Amendments to §52.21 and 80-5.22 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education Relating to the Transitional G and Pre-Professional Certificates - Department staff will present for final adoption proposed new regulations in §80-5 creating a Transitional Certificate for Teaching Assistants and in §80-5.22 expanding the graduate degree content areas eligible for the Transitional G Certificate and discuss comments received.
Proposed Amendments to Part 30 of the Regents Rules and §52.21 and Part 80 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education Relating to a New Certification Area and Tenure Area for Computer Science - Department staff will present for final adoption proposed amendments to Part 30 of the Regents Rules and §52.21 and Part 80 of the Commissioners regulations related to the creation of a new certification area and tenure area in the classroom teaching service for computer science and will discuss public comments received.
Proposed Addition of a New §80-5.27 to the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education Relating to the Creation of a Transitional K Certificate for Certain New York State Licensed and Registered Health Professionals to Teach Health Education in the Classroom - Department staff will present a proposed amendment to create a Transitional certificate for individuals in certain health professions (including nursing and medical) licensed and registered in New York to obtain a transitional certificate in the classroom teaching service in health education (all grades).
