Members of the public may attend Board of Regents meetings in person. Admission to the building will begin 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start. Seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once seating is full, guests will be directed to an overflow room to view the webcast or they may view it on their personal devices.

Literacy Support Briefs for Linguistically Diverse Learners - Department staff and invited guests will present an overview of new topic briefs created to support implementation of NYSED Literacy Initiative recommendations for English Language Learners (ELLs) and multilingual learners (MLs). The presentation will highlight evidence-based practices that increase teachers’ ability to deliver practices influenced by the “Science of Reading” for these linguistically diverse students. |
