The Office of Special Education-Adult Career and Continuing Education Services (SE-ACCES) Committee held its scheduled meeting on September 9, 2025. All members were present except Regent Wade S. Norwood and Regent Shino Tanikawa, who were excused. Chancellor Lester W. Young, Jr., Regents Frances G. Wills, Aramina Vega Ferrer, Patrick A. Mannion, Seema Rivera, and Brian Krist also attended the meeting. 

MATTERS NOT REQUIRING BOARD ACTION

Proposed Amendments to Section 200.1 and 200.21 of the Commissioner of Education Relating to Impartial Hearing Officers SE-ACCES (D) 1 – Ceylane Meyers-Ruff and Christopher Suriano presented on a proposed amendment to sections 200.1(x) and 200.21 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education relating to the definition of an impartial hearing officer and special education impartial hearing officer complaints.
