MATTERS NOT REQUIRING BOARD ACTION

Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision (BPSS) Update – The Committee was provided an update on the positive changes that have been implemented due to the new legislation that went into effect on December 15, 2012. Since the implementation of the statutory change, BPSS has seen significant improvement in practice and results. While there is still room for improvement, SED has begun to position itself to provide better service and oversight of this sector.
