The Special Education/Adult Career and Continuing Education Services (SE/ACCES) Committee held its scheduled meeting on July 14, 2025. All members were present except Regent Adrian I. Hale, who was excused. Regent Roger Tilles participated via Video Conference. 

Chancellor Lester W. Young, Jr., Regents Frances G. Wills, Aramina Vega Ferrer, Patrick A. Mannion, Seema Rivera, Brian Krist, Keith B. Wiley, and Felicia Thomas-Williams also attended the meeting. 

MATTERS NOT REQUIRING BOARD ACTION

Proposed Amendment to Section 100.7(a)(2)(i)(a) and (b) of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education Relating to the Regents-High School Equivalency Exam Pathway and Use of Regents Credit Acquired by Exemptions from Diploma Assessment Requirements - Department staff will present on alignment of prior regulatory amendments related to enabling an exemption from Regents exams for unforeseen major life event. The exemption could be used toward receiving a high school equivalency diploma.
