Proposed Amendment to Subpart 82-1 Relating to Procedures for Hearings on Charges Against Tenured School Employees Pursuant to Section 3020-a of the Education Law.  Your Committee voted that Subpart 82-1 of the Regulations of the Commissioner be amended, as submitted, effective April 24, 2012, as an emergency action upon a finding by the Board of Regents that such action is necessary for the preservation of the general welfare in order to implement Education Law section 3020-a, as amended by Chapter 57 of the Laws of 2012.
