Office of Cultural Education (OCE) finances, including the status of OCE’s major financial accounts. 

Background Information

The Cultural Education Trusteeship Committee has received regular reports about the financial status of Cultural Education accounts. At the most recent committee meeting on March 18, 2008, Office of Cultural Education staff provided a written and oral report on the status of OCE’s key financial accounts, including the Cultural Education Account.  At the request of the Committee, staff also provided a report to the full Board of Regents at its April 15, 2008 meeting highlighting projected funding shortfalls in future fiscal years.

Proposed Handling

              This issue will come before the Cultural Education Trusteeship Committee at the June 2008 session.
