PROVISIONAL CHARTERS

 

 

SUPPLEMENTAL No. 1

 

ALL SAINTS ELEMENTARY OF TIPPERARY HILL

 

Syracuse, Onondaga County

 

The board of trustees has petitioned the Board of Regents to form a corporation to operate a pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and a grade one through six elementary  school and a day care center.  The Office of Nonpublic School Services recommends that a provisional charter be granted for a period of three years.

 

 

 

SUPPLEMENTAL No. 2

 

THE ELIJA SCHOOL

 

Bethpage, Suffolk County

 

The board of trustees has petitioned the Board of Regents to form a corporation to operate a school for children ages three to twenty-one diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.  The Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID) has been provided with an opportunity to review this action and the trustees have been advised that the granting of a provisional charter does not constitute approval for state funding for programs and services under the jurisdiction of VESID.   The Office of Nonpublic School Services recommends that a provisional charter be granted for a period of three years.

 

 

SUPPLEMENTAL No. 3

 

HEARTSHARE EDUCATION CENTER

 

Brooklyn, Kings

 

The board of trustees has petitioned the Board of Regents to form a corporation to operate services within the City of New York for children with disabilities ages three to five, including but not limited to, evaluations, special classes, Special Education Itinerant Teacher services, related services, and special classes within integrated setting. To conduct development activities relative to the establishment of a private school-age special education program for students ages three to twenty-one and to provide evaluations and consultant teaching services. The Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID) has been provided with an opportunity to review this action and the trustees have been advised that the granting of a provisional charter does not constitute approval for state funding for programs and services under the jurisdiction of VESID.  The Office of Nonpublic School Services recommends that a provisional charter be granted for a period of three years.

ST. MARY MOTHER OF JESUS - ST. FRANICIS CABRINI ACADEMY

 

Brooklyn, Kings County

 

The board of trustees has petitioned the Board of Regents to form a corporation to operate a nursery school for preschool children from three to five years of age, a kindergarten for five year olds, and a grade one through eight elementary school.  The Office of Nonpublic School Services recommends that a provisional charter be granted for a period of three years.
