Charter Schools: Merger Revision to Charters Authorized by the Board of Regents - Department staff will present a recommendation for a merger-revision for a Board of Regents-authorized charter school.
Revision to a Charter Authorized by the Board of Regents - Department staff will present a recommendation for a revision to a school’s charter.
Proposed Amendment to Section 100.2(kk)(1) of the Commissioner’s Regulations Relating to Reports of Incidents of Harassment, Bullying and/or Discrimination Pursuant to the Dignity for All Students Act - Department staff will review a recommended change to the DASA regulation.
Renewal Recommendations for Charter Schools Authorized by the Board of Regents - Department staff will present recommendations for charter school renewals.
Information Privacy Program - The Chief Privacy Officer will provide an update on current activities and next steps.

New York State Museum’s Geologic Mapping Program - Department staff will review how modern geologic maps are generated through a combination of fieldwork, laboratory work, and computer-aided drafting, and how geologic mapping contributes to our understanding of New York’s geologic history.
Update from Educational Television and Public Broadcasting – WCNY, Syracuse - WCNY representatives will share information about their educational services, program outcomes, and plan for future educational endeavors.

Proposed Amendment to Sections 135.1 and 135.3 of the Commissioner’s Regulations Relating to Health Education - Department staff and representatives from the NYS Mental Health Education Advisory Council will present recommendations and resources to assist schools successfully implement Education Law §804 through the effective instruction of mental health, including the multiple dimensions of mental health.

Proposed Amendments to Section 4-1.3 of the Rules of the Board of Regents Relating to Voluntary Institutional Accreditation for Title IV Purposes - Department staff will present proposed amendments related to institutional accreditation.
Discussion of the Clinical Practice Work Group Activities and Recommendations for Field Experience and Student Teaching Requirements in Teacher Preparation Programs - Department staff will present an overview of initiatives related to clinical practice.
Proposed Addition of a New Section 80-3.16 to the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education to Allow Individuals Completing a Program Accredited by the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) to Obtain an Initial Certificate in Speech and Language Disabilities (All Grades) - Department staff will present a proposed amendment related to obtaining a certificate in the classroom teaching service in speech and language disabilities.
